Los Angeles Rave Flyers 1991-1994 is one part of a three-part series published by Colpa Press. An edition of fifty, it compiles rave flyers and promotional posters found throughout Los Angeles in the early 1990s. Seen together, the flyers expose two divergent aesthetics of the time: some are covered heavily in text–with lists of hosts, DJs, and performers, and descriptions of upcoming events and parties–while others are devoid of text altogether, an image or two that only an insider would understand.
